Young Professionals Board

Dedicated to the SIS mission of educating and enriching the lives of promising students from low income, under-served families, our Young Professionals Board is an integral, unique, and inspiring component of the SIS community.

 

By organizing volunteer activities, social events and networking opportunities, the SIS Young Professionals Board assists in cultivating awareness, support and philanthropy directed toward sustaining the school’s viability, as well as cultivating its next generation of leaders.

 

Members of the Young Professionals Board also serve as mentors for both current and graduated SIS students, contributing to both the culture and of objectives of SIS, collaborating on unique and valuable initiatives such as:

Which can include museum visits and outings throughout NYC with Young Professionals and SIS students

Young Professionals are paired with SIS-graduate high school juniors to help them navigate all aspects of the challenging college admissions process

Engaging and informative publications which provide updates on the Young Professionals’ activities and highlight the accomplishments of SIS students
