Aligned with the SIS mission of educating and enriching the lives of students from the South Bronx, the Young Professionals (YPs) affinity group plays a vital and dynamic role within our community. Comprising dedicated post-graduate supporters and SIS alumni, the YPs serve as adult role models for current SIS students and high school-enrolled alumni as students explore their own interests and career pathways.
Through organizing volunteer activities, social events, and networking opportunities, the YPs foster awareness, support, and philanthropy aimed at sustaining the school’s vitality. Their efforts are focused on empowering and inspiring the next generation of leaders at SIS, ensuring that our commitment to education remains strong and impactful.
