ADMISSIONS
St. Ignatius School (SIS) is a co-educational, Catholic Jesuit middle school in the South Bronx that empowers low-income students of all faiths to become their best selves by creating a safe and nurturing environment in which intellectual, spiritual and social growth is fostered.
"We are committed to providing an outstanding middle school education, and also to preparing and supporting our students through high school and college. Our relationship with our students is not only a point of pride, but a part of our mission. Our students become young men and women who possess all the tools they need to succeed as role models and leaders in their communities and to make a difference in the world."
Head of School, Rich Darrell
SIS serves students who want a rigorous Catholic education but who demonstrate substantial financial need. Family finances are reviewed on a case-by-case basis in the application process using the HUD Income Limits Summary for the Bronx.
The only charge for an SIS education is a $40/month activities fee to form a partnership with families.
